PeriopSim (www.periopsim.com) is an award-winning iPad and VR digital experience based training solution for Clinical Educators. Today Surgeons are concerned and dissatisfied with the team confidence and competence during key surgeries. Educators are faced with providing a lower quality of patient safety than they believe is proper. The product enables surgical staff to practice safely before surgery and achieve and maintain competence more quickly. PeriopSim was part of an 18-month pilot program with the Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN). PeriopSim has over 450 trainees across the US and Canada and with over 35 Hospitals paying yearly subscriptions including Johns Hopkins Sibley, UH of Cleveland and Providence St Joseph Health Everett.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating, segmenting, editing, A/B testing, scheduling, analysing and optimizing emails and email marketing campaigns
  • Provide recommendations on how to optimize customer journeys
  • Ensure emails are in full compliance of CASL, CAN-SPAM and other email regulations
  • Track performance of marketing automation campaigns and meet applicable KPIs
  • Implementation and tracking of various of SEO/SEM strategies
  • Provide recommendations on how SEO/SEM strategies can be further optimized
  • Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual/YoY digital marketing KPI reports, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports as required
  • Based on our digital KPI tracking and reporting, provide recommendations on ways to optimize performance.
  • Create the plan and execute our content calendar 
  • Tie all digital marketing activities to event calendar and with key channel partners

Bonus

  • Marketing in Healthcare, Clinical or Education experience

Qualifications/Experience

  • A university or college degree, preferably in marketing or computer science
  • 5+ years proven experience in digital marketing role managing the tracking, reporting of digital assets including website, email, social media and PPC spend
  • 3+ years of Marketing automation experience, preferably with Hubspot
  • Excellent Excel skills are a must
  • Creation of process diagrams
  • Google Analytics certified
  • Highly organized and able to keep on task and self-manage to ensure all deliverables are on time/quality and budget.
  • Desire to work with and be a part of a high performance team in a fast paced and tight turnaround environment.
  • Sense of urgency and turnaround is part of your DNA.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess best communication approach and offer expert guidance based on their needs.
