Conquer Experience Inc. creates and sells digital simulation and assessment based education under the PeriopSim brand and the primary purpose of this site is to provide public information on the company, its products and services and to enable interested parties to contact the company.

Conquer operates under the governance of ISO27001, ISO27701 and GDPR compliant polices.

This Privacy Notice describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when  you use this site and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. By using this site, Conquer may gather your Personal data and you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Notice for the purposes of Conquer sending you information about our products and services.

Withdrawal of Acceptance (Unsubscribe):  This site may solicit additional Personal data such as your email address via the completion of forms, chat bots or similar technologies. Completion of those items will authorize the sending of a marketing email which will contain information on how to remove acceptance by unsubscribing from that particular communications stream. Management of Your Personal Data

Use of data:  Your data will only be shared with certain data processors to provide you the services described in above our in your contract. Conquer will not share Your data with any external companies for unnecessary purposes, such as that they may offer you their products and services.

Storage of data:  Conquer securely stores your data with Linode, Google and Hubspot, physically located in the United States of America. Please visit their respective websites for more information regarding the location and security precautions used. 

Transfer of data:  Conquer operates both in the United States and Canada, so your data will be accessed and exported to Canada. Your information, including Personal data, will be processed at the company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means that your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located out side of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Notice followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Conquer will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Disclosure of data:  There are certain circumstances when Conquer will disclosure you data to other parties and your consent to this Privacy Notice followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that disclosure.

  • Business Transactions – if Conquer is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sales, your Personal data may be transferred. Conquer will provide notice before you personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • Law Enforcement – under certain circumstances Conquer may be required to disclose your Personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities such as a court or government agency.

Your Rights: Conquer undertakes to respect the confidentiality of your Personal Data and to guarantee you can exercise your rights. Depending on your

  • Request access to your Personal Data. The right to access, update or delete the information Conquer has on you, subject to limited exceptions. To receive access to personal data, a person must make a request in writing, and provide information to be able to identify the personal information being sought. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact Conquer to assist you. This also enables you to receive a copy of the Personal Data Conquer holds about you.
  • Request correction of the Personal Data that Conquer holds about you. You have the right to have any incomplete or inaccurate information Conquer holds about you corrected. Requests for corrections must be made in writing and provide information to be able to identify the personal information and correction being sought. If the personal information is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete, Conquer will correct the information as required and send the corrected information to any organization to which the personal information was disclosed previously.
  • Object to processing of your Personal Data. This right exists where Conquer is relying on a legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing and there is something about your particular situation, which makes you want to object to our processing of your Personal Data on this ground. You also have the right to object where Conquer is processing your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. However, by objecting to supply personally-identifiable information, this may prevent you from engaging in certain website-related activities.
  • Request erasure of your Personal Data. You have the right to ask Conquer to delete or remove Personal Data when there is no good reason to continue processing it.

Please note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for Conquer to use, or where Conquer used the information to perform a contract with you.
  • Withdraw Your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent on using your Personal Data. If you withdraw your consent, Conquer may not be able to provide you with access to certain specific functionalities of the Service.

Exercising your Rights: You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by contacting Conquer Experience Inc. Please note that Conquer may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests. If you make a request, Conquer will try our best to respond to you as soon as possible, without undue delay, and within one calendar month. If the request is complex or difficult to accomplish, Conquer may extend this to two months, and in that case, you will be notified with the reason for delay, within one month of receiving the initial request.

Conquer can refuse to respond to certain requests, and can, in circumstances of the request being repetitive, manifestly unfounded or excessive, charge a fee. Where a fee may apply, Conquer will inform you of the cost, and will request further direction from you on whether the request should be proceeded with.

Conquer will provide written notification if part of or all of the information will not be provided, with reason for refusal and available recourse. If the request is for a large quantity of data, Conquer can request the individual specify the information being requested.

If you are dissatisfied with Conquer’s response, you may be entitled to make a written submission to the Privacy Commissioner in your jurisdiction. You may also contact Conquer for assistance in contacting your jurisdiction.

Publicly available data

Conquer may make available to you and other users of the site the ability to provide comments, feedback and additional information. This information will be visible to all other users of the site as well as Conquer and generally will be unmoderated. This information will be treated as Public data and not Personal data.

Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, which may be automatic, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Data Retention: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information you provide in their web site user profile. You can see, edit, or delete you personal information at any time (except you cannot change you username). Conquer website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data deletion If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the Personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Page Caching: This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary.
